What a stinky day! The freezer died. The contents died twice. I bagged the ruined food and dragged it out into the yard, but not before the bag tore and it all had to be bagged again. The entire house smells like...gag...rotten sewer sludge. I have bee spraying Fabreeze all over the place, opened windows, doors and had the fans all blowing. All I can say is "yuk, yuk, yuk" because it is still odoriferous within.
As you can tell the best laid plans for the day went astray. I still have more cleaning to do and need to figure out how to get rid of that poor little freezer. Have dolly, will travel out the door, I hope.
So there isn't all that much to add to this post as the day just didn't go my way. Sometimes we have days like that and have to accept it along with the loss of a lot of food. So be it. While I lost a lot of food I keep in mind that there are those that have NO food.

Proverbs 3: 5-6
I like Proverbs; I always did. All that wisdom neatly tied up and available to the reader of the Bible. The problem that I do find with Proverbs is that it is easy to read, but hard to practice. Well, no one ever said that living a good life and following the Bible would be easy. If I could just have one percent of that wisdom stamped within me...I might be a far better person. I wonder why God made my heart and soul so porous. I can "soak it up" like the rain only to have it run right out again. I guess I don't make good sponge, but I would like to. I keep trying.
