coffee filters

this morning as i made my coffee and tossing out the filter i got to musing that most people don't know that the filters are actually reusable. or they may know, but care less. to reuse them you do need to take the time to dump the grounds and rinse out the filter and find a place to dry the paper for the next
use. it is good to take a few seconds to reshape the filter.

if you don't use the filter for the next pot of coffee remember you can filter/strain dirt from gasoline, kerosene and dirty water before you boil water for consumption. i am sure people can come up with other uses for coffee filters.

don't forget the old grounds can be relegated to the garden or potted plants. in desperation..and desperation days may be upon us..you can use those old ground over for a pot weak coffee.i think an old fashioned percolator would be really good to have on hand. i have one.

i have actually done what i have written. life may get a lot harder. save now wherever you can.
