BANG! FAITH!

MY HAND IN GOD'S

EACH MORNING WHEN I WAKE I SAY
"I PLACE MY HAND IN GOD'S TODAY"
I KNOW HE'LL WALK CLOSE BY MY SIDE,
MY EVER WANDERING STEP TO GUIDE.

HE LEADS ME WITH THE TENDEREST CARE
WHERE PATHS ARE DARK AND I DESPAIR,
NO NEED FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND,
I BUT HOLD FAST TO HIS HAND.

MY HAND IN HIS.  NO SURER WAY
TO WALK IN SAFETY THROUGH EACH DAY.
BY HIS GREAT BOUNTY I AM FED,
WARMED BY HIS LOVE, I AM COMFORTED.

WHEN AT DAY'S END I SEEK MY REST,
I REALIZE HOW MUCH I AM BLESSED.
MY THANKS POUR OUT TO HIM, AND THEN
I PLACE MY HAND IN GOD'S AGAIN.

Faith: Its all about believing, isn't it.  A lot of people do not believe in God because they can not see, hear, feel, or touch Him.  But we believe in the wind; we can believe in the effects of the wind.  It is the same with God.  You-we- can see, hear, feel, touch the effects of God when we open our eyes and ears and heartS to look around, feel and listen.  Are you a creation of the BIG BANG THEORY or are you "wonderfully, fearfully made?"  I can accept the Big Bang Theory  explanation in part, but then ask yourself, Who or What initiated that first spark that set everything in motion?  I don't believe that we were an accident waiting to happen.  Scientist continue to search for the so called "God Particle."  When and if they ever "find" it, how will they explain where THAT came from?  Simple: I believe in God and He created everything, including and exclusively,  the "God Particle.  Have faith...

My appointments are done and my perscriptions renewed: I am good to go.  I am tired this eve. and I didn't get a lot done.  I ate out because I didn't want to cook and then clean up my mess.  I don't know what I will get done tomorrow other than go back to the library.

I left my debt card at the Jewelry store yesterday, but they had it waiting for me when I went in this afternoon.  I was there yesterday to have a couple links put back into my "good" watch.  I "broke" my beloved old watch.  The mainspring failed.  My old watch is around 60 years old.  It is an old Navy service watch and has worked so well for all the past years.  I will get it fixed...when I have more money.

Now it is time to rest.  I hope I sleep well.  At lest I can sleep late Wed. morning...if I want to.
