PICKIN' PEPPERS

I picked the very last of the sweet peppers.  They aren't very big, but they, but went well with steak and onions.  I have a few left in the fridge, but there are no more to pick.  I need to pick a few green tomatoes tomorrow,  It is supposed to rain buckets and cool down a lot.

I don't want to turn the heat on yet, but may need to.  I did turn the heat on the other day for about an hour-just to take the chill off the house.  I soon turned it off because I got too warm.  Some people just can never be satisfied!

I missed the boat somewhere: I finally got a reader or hit from China.  I never know what or who looked at my blog or why...or if they were just surfing.

"Be not slow to visit the sick:  For by these things you shall be confirmed in love.  In all your works remember your last end.  Do not despise the old men or women. We too, will become old"

I am suffering from brain drain and nothing very inspiring comes to mind.  I guess I will get over it, but right now my "thinker" is on some kind of vacation, but there isn't any water in the pool: it's as dry as a bone.  Does anyone else have theses mental droughts and dry spots?  Gee, I wish I knew.
A CHILD'S PRAYER

O SWEET SHEPARD GENTLY LEAD ME,
LEST I FALL OR GO ASTRAY:
WITH THE BREAD OF HEAVEN FEED ME,
THAT I FAINT NOT BY THE WAY.

END
