THE WIND

WE DO NOT SEE THE WIND
WE ONLY HEAR IT SIGH
IT MAKES THE GRASSES BEND
WHENEVER IT GOES BY

WE DO NOT SEE GOD'S LOVE
BUT IN OUR HEARTS WE KNOW
HE WATCHES OVER US
WHEREVER WE MAY GO

WE DO NOT HAVE TO SEE
TO KNOW THE WIND IS HERE
WE DO NOT HAVE TO SEE
TO KNOW GOD'S LOVE IS NEAR.

"Humble yourselves
in the sight of the Lord,
and He will exult you."

Epistle of James-4: 10

"All flesh is as grass,
and all it's glory
as the flower of grass;
the grass has withered
and the flower has fallen,
but the word of the Lord
endures forever."

1st. Epistle of St. Peter-1:24, 25

I never get as much done as I plane for, but I did get a few things accomplished.  I pulled and bagged the pepper and tomato plants so they are out of the way and ready for pick-up on Thursday.  I didn't get my sewing done, either.  I will just have to wear something else.  If the day were to be cooler tomorrow I would wear a long sleeve blouse.  That would cover that long scar on my arm and hide the loss of mucles- atrophy and it would look fairly normal that way.  Not that it is all that bad;  I won't complain.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day-Sunday.  Who knows what the day will bring.  How will you spend your Sunday?
