A Long Week

This has been a long, unproductive week.  I have spent most of the week lying around and sleeping a lot, trying to get over a slipped disk.  Eventually it will go away.  In the meantime I am getting nothing done.  I need to go to the store and get some TP, but I haven't even done that.  It will a sad day if I run out.

I can tell I am not up to par by the postings I have put out these last several days...pretty poor efforts.

I went out long enough to get something to eat at Wendy's.  Really have no desire to cook much.

The temperatures are not high...in the 80's now, but the humidity is nearly equal at 70%, so it is still uncomfortable.

I found 1-one-green tomato and several small, green peppers coming on.  I also found a worm on my new seedless grapevine.  I don't know how the sweet potato(s) are doing until I start digging for them.  I hope to get a few nice ones.

I have had a lot of problems with my online banking due to having this new laptop.  I kept getting rejected.  That has been resolved by going directly to the main branch and letting them fix the problem.  Online banking saves me a lot of time and gas and postage.  I know I have over-paid a couple of bills simply because I couldn't get "in" to make changes.  Anyway, it will all work out now.

A local bank went belly up and was acquired by my bank.  That bank was warned over a year ago to get its little ducks out of the water and didn't do it.  Now they are done for.
