WALK IN FAITH

Psalm 106: 31-32

"Let them give thanks to the Lord
for His kindness and wondrous deeds
to the children of man.
Let them extol Him in the assembly
of the people
and praise Him in the council of elders."

WALK IN FAITH

I'll walk in faith with God today
not knowing what it brings
I'll take each each step that He directs
and trust Him in all things.

I'll not lose hope if I am led
in moments of despair
I'll lean on Him with all my might
and trust me to His care.

I'll not assume that I know best
if heartaches come my way,
Because He'll meet my every need
I'll walk in faith today.

I'll take my walk in faith with God
by every single minute,
And though my pathway be unknown
by faith, I'll walk in it.

He knows the road that I must take
He knows each rock and stone
In faith I'll walk with God today
I will not walk alone.

You don't hear a lot about "Saint James, the Lessor" even though he wrote the first Catholic  Epistle, was the first Bishop of Jerusalem, the "Pillar" of the church and a witness of the Resurrection of Christ.  He was martyred around the year 49 and was also known as "James the Just.  His epistle is not long, but edifying.  Please Read this epistle of the early church.

"What will it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but does not have works?  Can the faith save him?"   St. James, 2: 14.

Do you-we- have faith-and good works?  What is a "good work?  Should we advertise our "good works" or go about our good works in a humble manner?  Questions for the individual(s) to ponder.

This has been another lazy day.  The new CPAP machine and 02 concentrator seem to leave me tired and wanting to sleep more.  I think the old one was better for me even if it did make lots of weird noises.  Well, tomorrow I need to get busy and get myself in gear.  I have some appointments coming up on Mon. and Tuesday; I need to get my gray hair cut.  Cut out all the gray, that is.
