Library vs. work-the library won

I couldn't build this bench today.
I don't have the strength in my
right hand and arm...
but I can still sand and paint.

From the neighbor's trash

Nope, I didn't put the third coat of paint on the chair today. I went to the library and got some books instead. I have not had a good book to read for a while and stupid-vision stinks. There is nothing on TV that is really all that good. What ever happened to shows that were sponsored by Kraft, General Electric, and Hallmark? Only Hallmark is still alive on TV and many of the shows are re-runs...good shows, but re-runs. Junk shows and reality shows abound.

The table above I pulled out of the trash many years ago. It was as wobbly then as I was poor. I put screws into it and used it for a long time and then it was relegated to the back porch. I want to paint the legs and cover the top and then use it in the bathroom. The bench I made out of a solid plank of oak. I have painted it a couple times in the past. It has been outside in all kinds of weather. It is still pretty solid, but worse for wear. It needs some TLC. Yes, there is dirt under the bench and an old paint can. The wind blows the dirt under it and I left the can there. When I finish the chair, the table will be my next reclamation. I have not forgotten my less than rich days and hate to throw anything out.

NOR ARE MY EYES HAUGHTY;
I BUSY MYSELF NOT WITH GREAT THINGS
NOR WITH THINGS TOO SUBLIME FOR ME.
