GRUNTS

The snow is gone-for now.  I went to the Dollar Tree to get a few things.  Came home with more than I intended to get, but that is OK.  One more payment to the dentist and then I am out of debt..or am I.  Getting toothaches on the other side!

Not much going on.  Nothing to write about. The phone is ringing.  Debt collectors trying to find the woman who had  this number before.  Can't win!

How many disciples did Jesus have?  Just 12? More?
*
NOW AFTER THIS
THE LORD APPOINTED
SEVENTY TWO OTHERS,
AND SENT THEM FORTH,
TWO BY TWO BEFORE HIM.
INTO EVERY TOWN AND PLACE
WHERE HE HIMSELF
WAS ABOUT TO COME.
AND HE SAID TO THEM,
"THE HARVEST IS INDEED GREAT,
BUT THE LABORERS ARE FEW.
PRAY THEREFORE
THE LORD OF THE HARVEST
TO SEND FORTH LABORERS
INTO HIS HARVEST."
Luke 10:1-2
*

We never hear much about the 72 that were sent forth as emissaries-laborers, to prepare for arrival of the teacher/preacher.  They were the "grunts" of the day.  Are you a "grunt" for the Lord?

Greetings Mabel,

I am still chugging along on the ceramics but today has to be a day of errands. Counseling this morning then off to a couple of stores to pick up some supplies. Want to have enough in so I don't have to go out this weekend and can just work on ceramics. :-)

Hope you have an awesome day!!
Blessings, Alice
